Reset for the New Year

Reset your health goals for 2024

Welcome to the New Year! By the end of the last quarter of 2023, most people were feeling worn out, sluggish and had no time for themselves.   Now is the perfect time to upgrade your health for the New Year and refuel your body.
Think about what your goals are for this year with respect to your health and well-being.

When we set a New Year’s resolution, we must also change our behaviour, otherwise, it can become more of a challenge. Find your personal motivation – what is it that you really want to change or improve? Look at some things that can affect your state of wellbeing and would like to avoid repeating e.g. opening the fridge door when you are stressed or bored?

Think of two small changes you can make that are specific, realistic and achievable.

Examples:

  • Eating less at meal times
  • Reducing amount of sugar consumed and which can lead to stopping sugar cravings
  • Eating to have more energy, less fatigue and brain fog
  • Reduce body measurements by one cm off your waist each month- count the cms, not the kilos
  • Having a healthier gut and less digestive issues e.g. diarrhoea
  • Improving food intolerances you are experiencing
  • Stopping or reducing afternoon snacking
  • Lowering cholesterol and blood pressure
  • Improve diabetes control and reduce medication through better eating
  • Be fitter by exercising more
  • Slowing down speed of eating
  • Just to be healthier and get through the year
  • Be kind to yourself

Make this year the perfect time to upgrade your health and to create better health for 2024
